Waste-to-Energy, Explained
Plain-language guides to gasification, pyrolysis and compressed bio-gas, drawn from GDEPL’s technology and our work as its Authorized Channel Partner.
Choosing a waste-to-energy route starts with understanding the options. This hub explains how gasification differs from burning waste, which feedstock suits each technology, how CBG plants work, and what approvals a project should plan for. Questions it does not answer can go straight to our projects team.

How a Project Works
Every project follows the same path, from the first conversation to a running plant. Timelines and approvals depend on the site and the contract.

Our Team and Partners
Vasundhara Re-Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is led by Director Mr. Mohan Bankar. We work with GD Environmental Pvt. Ltd. (GDEPL), whose engineers design and manufacture the patented technology we install.

- Authorized Channel Partner of GDEPL
- Patented MMJUG and MMJUGP technology
- Municipal, institutional and industrial sites
- Plants from 200 kg to 50+ TPD
- Designed to CPCB norms
- Support across India and abroad

Our team coordinates between clients, GDEPL’s engineers and local authorities, so a project moves from enquiry to commissioning with one point of contact.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is waste-to-energy gasification?
Gasification converts waste at high temperature, with limited air, into a combustible gas, heat and a small amount of ash. GDEPL’s patented MMJUG system does this in a multi modal jet updraft gasifier.
Is gasification the same as incineration?
No. Gasification uses controlled, limited air to make a fuel gas rather than burning waste in excess air. GDEPL engineers its plants to Central Pollution Control Board norms.
What can the plants process?
Municipal solid waste, biomass, agricultural residue and some plastics, depending on the plant type. Suitability is confirmed project by project.
