About This Plant
At 25 TPD, Pirangut is among the larger plants in GDEPL’s reference list and shows the technology working at village-panchayat scale.

How the Plant Works
Waste is fed into a high-temperature updraft gasifier, where controlled air converts it into combustible gas and heat, leaving a small amount of ash. The heat and gas can be put to use on site.
