About This Plant
The project strengthens waste management infrastructure in Pune and supports the city’s environmental goals, with long-term operation built into the contract.

How the Plant Works
Waste is fed into a high-temperature updraft gasifier, where controlled air converts it into combustible gas and heat, leaving a small amount of ash. The heat and gas can be put to use on site.
